Earth, as a Closed Planet, knew nothing about her neighbors in alien worlds or of their capable methods of space flight. Isolated reports of flying saucers were met with scorn and disbelief.
Until one night a blinding streak in the Texas sky left seven survivors. Seven doomed to lose themselves by almost immediate adaptation to this world from which they could never return. For Earth, unbeknown to itself, was threatened by an enemy known to these seven. It was an enemy no one could see, hear or touch-an enemy that could make havoc on whole populations.
