Blurb: “The Countess de Saint Geran” was first published as part of his eight-volume series ‘Celebrated Crimes’ (1839-1840), which contained a collection of semi-fictionalised historical accounts that dealt with some of the most shocking and noteworthy criminal cases in European history.
