Quick Note:
As a collector and bookseller, this is probably the best piece in my inventory. Of the hundreds of books I've read, this is easily in my top 10 best books I've ever read. The characters are incredible. The humor is on point. Make no mistake, dark, sad stuff happens in this book but it is still very, very funny. LD is simply fantastic. When reading it for the first time, I immediately knew Augustus "Gus" McCrae joined the pantheon of my favorite characters ever in literature, tv, or movies.
