CRAIG MACINTOSH was born Dec. 28. 1945 in Long Beach, Cal. where his father was on duty with the U.S. Navy. He began drawing at an early age. continued through high school in Hawaii and on to a fine arts degree from the University of Illinois in 1966. After three years in the Army. one of which was spent in Vietnam.
Craig signed on as editorial cartoonist with the Dayton Journal-Herald. In June. 1975. he joined the Minneapolis Star as editorial cartoonist.
