Postmarked From The Stars Bookstore & The Local 937 Join Forces for a Pop-Up Celebration of Dune: Part 2
Dayton, Ohio - March 11, 2024 - Postmarked From The Stars, Dayton's small but mighty science fiction bookstore, is thrilled to announce its collaboration with St. Anne’s Hill neighborhood bodega, The Local 937, for a sci-fi pop-up event celebrating the release of Dune: Part 2. In partnership with The Local 937, Postmarked From The Stars has a Dune-themed extravaganza featuring a curated selection of Dune books, board games, action figures, and delectable treats inspired by the iconic sci-fi universe.
Dune: Part Two has now made over $367 million worldwide. Postmarked From The Stars Bookstore has been selling Dune themed books all month online but, they stated they wanted to allow local sci-fi aficionados to explore the expansive Dune universe and discover new titles to add to their collection. From classic editions to rare finds, there will be something for every sci-fi enthusiast to enjoy!

In addition to an impressive selection of Dune merchandise, the event will also showcase a series of themed sandwiches inspired by the beloved characters and motifs of the Dune universe. They’ll be kicking off the collaboration with the "Timothée Schawrmalamet," a mouthwatering chicken shawarma creation paying homage to actor Timothée Chalamet, who stars in Dune: Part 2. Other sandwich creations will be unveiled throughout the event, ensuring that attendees can fuel their interstellar adventures with delicious fare.

The pop-up will take place at The Local 937, located in the historic St. Anne's Hill neighborhood, where Postmarked From The Stars maintains a permanent mini-bookstore featuring approximately 150 rotating bargain new and used titles each month.
